ND Filters and Films

Neutral density (ND) filters are commonly used in biomedical imaging to control the amount of light entering a camera or microscope.

Bandpass filter

By designating pass (or transmission) band width and wavelength range to be blocked (or rejected), various spectral characteristics can be obtained.
